Meta, Facebook Kullanıcılarının NFT'leri Paylaşmasını ve Cüzdanları Bağlamalarını Sağlıyor – crypto.news

Meta has announced that all Facebook users will be able to post and display NFTs on their profiles. Users can now share their NFTs by linking their wallets to Facebook and Instagram.

Meta Enables Users to Post NFTs on Facebook

Meta'nın sahip olduğu açıkladı that Facebook now supports NFTs, allowing users to post their digital collectibles on the social media network. The social media giant has previously allowed users to post NFTs on Instagram but has not implemented NFT functionality on Facebook until now.

The billion-dollar tech company wants to make it simpler for users to share their NFTs by requiring only a one-time wallet link on Facebook or Instagram. Following that, if cross-posting is enabled in the account settings of either application, the user’s wallet will be automatically recognized.

NFTs, which are unique blockchain tokens that represent ownership, have attracted attention on Twitter as a social media feature, with users purchasing Twitter Blue to “verify” their NFT ownership and transform their profile pictures into hexagon-shaped badges.

NFTs can be displayed on both Facebook and Instagram by connecting wallets like as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet. Ethereum, Polygon, and Flow are the supported networks. In relation to the Facebook feature, Meta stated,

“Facebook ve Instagram'da dijital koleksiyon ürünleri sunmaya devam ederken, insanlara hem Facebook hem de Instagram'da sahip oldukları dijital koleksiyonları yayınlama olanağı vermeye başladık. Bu, insanların dijital koleksiyonlarını her ikisinde de paylaşmak için dijital cüzdanlarını bir kez her iki uygulamaya da bağlamalarını sağlayacak.”

According to Meta, when NFTs are posted on Instagram or Facebook, the artist and owner are instantly tagged, and there are no fees for sharing. There are also rumors that it plans to establish its own NFT marketplace; however, there hasn’t been an update on this in quite some time.

Meta had already enabled certain users to display NFTs on their accounts under a digital collectibles tab. The NFTs could be turned into Facebook posts, and users could react with likes, reactions, and comments.

Despite the current crypto winter, the company has maintained its intention to offer NFTs. In an interview, Stephane Kasriel, Meta’s head of fintech, stated that the company’s strategy has not changed as a result of the market slump and that it will continue to focus on supporting creators.

Individuals’ reactions on social media have been mixed, with some applauding the transition to web3. Others have a greater degree of skepticism due to Meta’s reputation.

Meta has been betting heavily on the metaverse, and it is evident that CEO Mark Zuckerberg sees this as the company’s future. It has made numerous research and development efforts in this regard, despite the fact that it has had a significant impact on the company’s operations.

Meta has caused a stir for its Horizon Worlds app, which recently launched in France and Spain. Criticism was rapid, focusing primarily on the visuals of the company’s initial step into the metaverse. Zuckerberg indicated that significant graphic enhancements would be forthcoming in the near future.
